Overview of Japanese Civil Helicopter Market in 2017

As of end of 2017, total number of civil helicopter registrations in Japan was 643, increased by 3 since end of 2016.

NEW OPPORTUNITIES ON THE HORIZON

Most of the newly introduced helicopters to the Japanese market are replacements of aging helicopters and another demand is EMS helicopters so called “Doctor Heli” thanks to the financial support by Japanese government.
